Nothing wrong with chicken necks for dogs imo, the only risk I am aware of is a small choking hazard for dogs that are swallowers rather than chewers. Like all bones, never feed them cooked as the bone becomes brittle and can break into sharp shards and cause internal damage.

Lamb shanks were always my go to bones for my boy but lately I've changed to osso bucco, bought from the butcher and cut into three or four pieces. The bones are much tougher and my fella can't just chomp through them like he does with the shanks so he gets better chewing time and teeth cleaning.

With any bones, it's worth watching your dog eating them(at least to begin with until you're comfortable that they aren't going to choke themselves).
