But the Orocobre chap did say elsewhere in that interview that he expected a decision on stage 2 and the LiOH plant in "early 2018". Plenty of wriggle room in the use of "early 2018" of course but if they are being fair dinkum I would think that they expect to have met nameplate and given the green light for both new jobs in the next eight weeks or so. So anything after say the end of February and in my view Orocobre management is playing silly buggers with us (again).

There is only two reasons the company would be putting so much effort into marketing themselves in the last couple of months: either they know bad news is coming or they know good news is coming (well, you don't say) and in the past when they knew bad news was coming they went all coy. So I choose to believe that good news is coming in "early 2018".
