    the electric titans are coming

Every month another Electric Hyper Car seems to be announced, dangling the promise of Newton law ripping acceleration, horse-power bigger than the state of Texas, charge times quicker than the Light Brigade and all coupled with a launch date of yesterday. It never fails to capture the medias attention like a Vegas show girl.
Glitz sells but what hauls butt ?
I still believe we will see the greatest changes in the commercial industry and this electric rEVolution should be championed as much as these glitzy hyper cars.

EFT's vision is building 100% electric, all-wheel drive, all-wheel steer mining trucks on a modular platform that can haul payloads between 250 metric tonne to 565 metric tonne. To limit expensive down time wheels and batteries can be changed within 15 minutes and technical systems swapped out for the ability to service and repair back at the workshop.

All-wheel steer gives EFT trucks the advantage of tighter turning circles allowing them to operate on roads with a width of no greater than 24.16 metres wide and all-wheel drive offers greater traction and stability in bad weather conditions, especially snow and heavy rain.

The modular construction means all the trucks share the same height (6.3m) and width (7.6m) so can operate on the same width road, which can be an issue at smaller mines, or easily coupled to create haul trains increasing payloads up to 4,500 metric tonnes.

Or offer the ability to be the base of differing vehicles and mining equipment but still sharing a majority of components, wheels and batteries reducing the need for complex parts stocking.

The Golden Age of technology is fast approaching and these electric titans will help carry us there..
