I don't see the war on terror as futile. What the left conveniantly ignores in it's dismissal of the war on terror as futile is:

1: The sight of fully juiced up passenger jets flying into the WTC. Unimaginable before that day wasn't it.

2: What other murder en masse atrocities would have happened between then and now had drastic action not been taken against militant Islam, regardless of whether Iraq was involved or not. Believe it or not these psycho's have been seriously hobbled by the actions undertaken by the coalition. Don't listen to your left wing media - do your own research.

It's too damn easy for arm chair critics to sit back and criticise.

Personally after the first Gulf war and Hussein's utter humliation it is not realistic to say he wasn't funding action against the US and other western targets. WMD maybe not but dollars and plenty of them I'm sure.
