Is it possible that CNM-Au8 and MPL would be complementary drugs? CNM-Au8, in combination with riluzole, was well-tolerated in ALS with no identified safety signals. MPL appears to be equally safe. Good chance CNM-Au8/MPL would be safe.

In layman's terms, MPL would be busy cleaning up the cellular waste dump while CNM-Au8 gives added support to what is left of the healthy cell system.
