It's a curious thing isn't it. However having spent far too long trying to get people in organisations that ought to have known better given their size and reach that words matter and that good analysis and consistency matter I probably am not surprised. Just a terrible shame that the holes in the Moelis report from March this year (including a mathematical error of considerable proportion in the financials - example can be provided but it's visible to anyone looking at them properly) is followed up by this strange assessment a few days ago.
