The latest face to face Morgan Poll released yesterday and conducted after Julia Gillard announced the election date shows the Coalition in front 51.5% to 48.5%. In other words its still a close race
This poll runs counter to the earlier NEWSCORP owned Newspoll which showed a sudden reversal in the Federal Governments fortunes.
Could it be that the Newspoll which was out of trend with its previous poll was a rogue poll? Perhaps Mark Latham had a point that he couldnt believe 800,000 voters changed their vote from one recent poll to the next.
I guess the Nielsen poll will be the next guage of voter intentions.
