LTD, I don't believe three weeks to reach 14,000 ft is quite correct. By my calculations based on the trajectory of drilling, we'll be reaching that depth (at the latest) by 15-16 March, which is ~12 or 13 days away, barring any further hiccups. We are only around 1,500 ft away from this target, according to Monday's (28/02/2011) update of 12,490 ft.
The current drilling slope will obviously begin to asymptote the deeper we go, but we've already had one minor delay (which would artificially increase the slope), so I IMHO don't think my estimations are being over confident. I suspect we might get an announcement tomorrow with an update - if I'm wrong, then all credit to you.
