It's very odd that there's been a sudden spike without any public news. If they've landed the funding that was due from ASA and Varex, and people are buying before the announcement, it's blatent insider trading.
Not sure about a CR.... Another CR is going to completely f... the SP. Last one wiped out about 60%, not to mention the huge loss in investor confidence in the Board.
