i think fears of a chinese slowdown are vastly exaggerated. the stock market is immature, and the investors there are getting an expensive education. its handy to remember that while the stock market fell 9% yday, its still up on a weekly basis.
btw, if you read james clavell's 'noble house' - the depiction of the early days of the HK stock exchange resembles what happened yday...
