Some consultant has given an opinion about suitable land prior to purchase of it for planting. If its negligent advice the company can sue . Being the first major Indian Sandalwood plantation the coy took on the agricultural risks to establish know-how . It would be interesting to c how plantations in south india and china subsequently established have fared. Given the coy still cannot workout level of heartwood until a tree is actually harvested and cut there is a long way to go.
