Can the new group get bondholder support? Give them time, say 4 days before the EGM, to show it. The present board have had 7 month to do something.
Can the new group manage the business? At least they have runs on board for managing their own business’s.
Can FW be managed to add value to business but not run amok? The new group including FW are entering it with all eyes open.
Is the Sandalwood business viable? If we can get a survival of 300 stems/Ha growing at 1kg heartwood/yr, this should be worth $30000/Ha/yr. so as long as the business is managed well, this is 3 times what you can get growing cotton. So it depends on reasonable management. The early plantations haven’t had near that level of production, but TFS was then learning .
It seems to me that we can leave the company run business as usual till the noteholders take over, or try something new
