I agree it will take a long time, but as I have said before, I believe the best outcome for all involved (families of the miners, West Coast community, shareholders and even the NZ government) would be to extract the coal in a 100% safe way.
Lets face it, nothing is going to bring back those poor miners but we can learn some invaluable lessons from this tragic event. I believe that the investigation will highlight all the things NOT to do in a coal mine and hopefully when they mine again they will get things right this time.
Due to the shortage of resources on this planet, eventually, PRC will be mined, it may be 2 yrs, 10 yrs or 200 yrs time but it will be mined.... .....in my view, they may as well mine sooner than later.
