re: tubs - whats laf doing??????? Good question tubs!
Looking at the turnover, appears that there is some profit taking from the placement which is unfortunate but to be expected.
Sea conditions off Rapu Rapu are horrendous with a number of fisherman just north missing at the moment. This, coupled with the usual party atmosphere in the Philippines at this time of year, would suggest limited action on the ground (though most of the action is set to go once officials get off their freckles!).
Waiting to hear positive news later next week/early week after-then gangbusters with the prevailing metals prices. Hopefully those prices go a long way to compensate for the dilution.
Oh yeah, the President has taken up surfing so her Australian affiliations continue to improve. Also rumours of Australian government assistance in broader geophysical programmes underway.
Don't forget, the Philippines is the only Christian country in SE Asia (besides East Timor) and we need all the friends we can get in that region. Golf is great and the resorts are world class-go spend some time there! Alcohol is also duty free, the food is sumptuous, and the locals are easy on the eye.
Needless to say I like the place and plan on visiting Rapu Rapu by February.
Cheers,TAS
