Imagine if all lawyers, parents or friends took that attitude.
It would not be a nice place to live -this Earth, we are all here to learn to do the 'right thing', some cop out as that is very often the easy way out & with the 'I am sick of it' you have copped out.The other way is acknowledge it & let it go, do not get emotionally involved as you have appeared to have done.
