And he was very wrong back in 2002 when he was predicting a deep recession with the worst two years being immediately following (ie 2003 and 2004 - I can't recall too many economic hard times anywhere in the world back then). If you predict a recession for long enough eventually you are going to be right. Just as anyone who now predicts a turnaround and continues to do so until it happens will eventually be right.
