They have been told repeatedly that their hopes ("Not Long Now) lol - lol here there and everywhere = lol - will be dashed but they don't seem to listen!!
The fact is that some people are slow learners. However we all learn through our experiences and "wisen" up as we proceed through life. In this instance - a case of persistent doggedness to deny reality - the learners are going to learn through a touch of behaviorism. The punishment side of the theory. And boy are they going to be punished.
Mateys this is going to hurt bad, really bad. But try to look on the bright side (if you can) and realize that if we take the inverse of the old saying No Pain No Gain we come up with a gain. After the next election all the Liberals will be conditioned to face things as they actually are. Of course whether they put the new learnt skill into practice will be a different matter.
