Greenie control could be interesting for about 5 minutes. I'm sure we'd get rid of our defence forces, only converse with like-minded, peace loving, sincere, 'the kind of person you're mother would like you to marry' souls, and sit around the communal fire (not using old-growth of course, and recycling the smoke into clean air) singing happy, merry songs.
Then after that 5 minutes of joy, some faraway dictator spotting an easy target will blow the peace-lovers to bits, and those that survive will be thrown back into reality, that reality being the real world.
Now I dont mind forward-thinking and certainly the green movement has its ideas, but seriously, can anyone really imagine the greens running the country, or even control of the senate? I think not!
