Former Labor Senator Graham Richardson says the recent polling showing Labor ahead is an “excellent result” for the Albanese government.

Mr Richardson says he thinks it is a “pretty dire warning” to Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and the Liberals.

New polling showed Labor leads ahead of the Coalition 52-48.
