I say again:

1. Hearsay and unsubstantiated.

2. Got some LKE or Lilac results that were released to the ASX ?

To the best of my knowledge, for 25,000t/y, LKE plan to pump 23 million cubic metres of lithium bearing brine from their extraction wells.

That’s 23 billion litres per year.

If you wish to pluck 5% from nowhere, then 4% of 23 billion litres is total water consumption (assuming lithium is 1% of total volume).

Fresh water consumption still remains a mystery.

Then LKE plan to re-inject 95% of 23 billion litres back into the Salar…ever so carefully so as not to disturb the freshwater balance.

To suggest 50,000t/y LCE (which is double the figure above is), in the medium term is simply fanciful.
