Before I get the normal name calling and cat calls, The following is a peer reviewed scientific paper from Stanford and Cornell Universities. These aren't opinions, they are well researched scientific facts.

Robert Howarth from Cornell University and Mark Jacobson from Stanford University have just published their peer reviewed paper "How green is blue Hydrogen." They go through a life-cycle analysis of the greenhouse gas omissions from Blue Hydrogen systems that use CCUS. The results are astounding.

    1) Blue Hydrogen CO2 emissions are marginally less than Grey Hydrogen. A saving of 9-12%. Remember grey hydrogen is one of the worlds worst greenhouse gas offenders.
    2) The Greenhouse gas footprint of Blue Hydrogen is more than 20% greater than burning natural gas or coal for heat and some 60% greater than burning diesel oil for heat.

While storing CO2 is one thing, the energy needed to store it creates co2 emissions, and then there is the big daddy of fugitive methane emissions.

Wow, maybe HXG will become a coal miner instead, so it can lower the emissionswink.png.
