The real question in all of this is where is the accretive value that should have come with an acquisition....instead we have a (claimed by many) overpaid asset with immediate downgrades, regardless of short or long term, more debt, SP continues well below the CR @$2.05. and the board stating they are desperately keen to grab another asset. The only winners so far are the board with STI bonuses met. The shareholders have been the losers...Any decent acquisition would have immediately added value.
Add in LOCC making changes to production without notifying partner Karoon and STAM alerting us to the fact that there are relationship operator issues at Bauna... is this why there has been more downtime over and above scheduled maintenance.??? Are Karoon not supporting the operators when told of deteriorating maintenance issues.?
Not only that the board gives themselves an STI to " repair" the relationship.
The board stinks anyway you look at it.
