That is all true. But perhaps lithium pricing will slow the decent and begin to rise H2 2020. I don't believe the forces at play are done restricting new supply project investment just yet. My expectation is for carbonate and Hydroxide to settle into a range of US$11000 to US$12000 by 2022. For those interesting in spod pricing, it requires between 6.5x to 7.5x spod to create carbonate and Hydroxide. An additional conversion cost could be on average US$1500 per ton.
