My Google stalking suggests that the "guy called Ryan" was probably Ryan Broom the Financial Controller.

Normally that title would be the 2IC role to the Chief Financial Officer, Albert Longo.

He may not know WHEN anything is going to be announced
bit I think he would be forming a much more informed view than we can
as to WHETHER Cascavel's operations in June were cash-flow positive, for example.
