Under asx rules the company need to keep investors informed if a stock is in suspension. Yesterday's announcement was their attempt to abide by these rules.
But as you said it was a pretty poor effort. I don't know why they cannot disclose what they are up to especially when the stock is in suspension.
Call the company as I have done to vent your frustration on this matter.
At this stage I believe we will still be in suspension for another week.
