If I was a fab owner and I saw the cost saving with less masks, As well as a new technology that save energy, which coincidences with the Global summit of cutting carbon emisions, I'd be looking for alternatives to secure my future within the industry.
Those with new products would be demanding reram over flash. Especially if its cheaper to make than flash memory.
If manufacurers are using MRam the users if MRam could be playing with the silvaco victory device.
Just like the uptake of USB plugs, The whole industry took this on board and every computer started using the good old usb plug, Same principle as HDMI cable it just gets adopted because its better and cheaper, Some things just get adopter on mass as it ticks the boxes for manufacturers cuts costs, It just takes a company like skywater to push the first domino over for the rest to follow.
So what may seem a handicap may end up as the strongest finisher in terms of production.
