Master/N5, brokers use 50 cents per mcf of gas. So at 4TCF Cua-Lo would have a theoretical value of 88cps.
If its as rumoured, around 6TCF, then it goes to $1.32.
However gas prices vary so much around the world, unlike oil prices, that the 50c is very much a guideline for valuation.
The comforting thing is 50c is used for USA gas which is some of the cheapest around at btween $3-$4. Vietnam gas is all over the place from low $3 to $7. But then we should not assume the gas will be sold locally, that is but one option.
On the $5 per boe, again this is a broker figure for valueing oil. It does not transfer to gas very well at an economic level, so better to use the 50c per mcf.
