one of the reasons for taking on iraq was to bring democracy to the middle east.the idea was, if a country could be successfull in the middle east it would provide an example to the rest of the middle east. that democracy and progress is an achievable goal and that the usa were the good guys and al queada should be ignored.
this is why obl is so worried about iraq and urging muslims to go to the midle east and cause trouble.if iraq succeeds obl is finished.
so anyone who acts how al queda wants is helping al queda and threatning the hopes of the iraqi people.gwb took the fight to al queda on their own turf.that is where the fight is now.
