Reaper - you don't need TV ratings, graphs, or reports to figure out why Latham was sacked.
It's not at all a question of free speech; it's one of gross offensiveness to the majority of the community. No intelligent person could countenance making fun of clinical depression. None at all. No more for example, than making fun of a politician because they're in a wheelchair, because of their gender or race or skin colour.
As someone said above, not difficult to get a handle on the obvious.
