re: re:howard told the truth on gst Labor wanted the GST anyway, but had to pretend they didn't when Howard announced it.
It was the democrats that lied about opposing it and then added to that lie by insisting on the introduction of a half-baked GST.
Latham should put 10% GST on everything and raise pensions as compensation and make decent cuts to personal income tax.
