When I joined the register in July 2020, LAU shares were fairly hard to obtain, as there were some days IIRC with no trades.
On a 'scale of difficulty' where '10' is 'most difficult', they'd have rated at that time an '8', although Supply Network Ltd (ironically a truck and to a lesser extent bus parts supplier) was a '10', as I was forced to place two separate orders on difficult days, such was the paucity of sellers. Some incredibly thinly traded stocks remain, such as LCE (which I've never managed to obtained): it'd be off the scale.
I assume a few analysts and more than a few small retail investors have noted over time the SP appreciation and increased number and size of trades, and have paid or are beginning to pay this small company in LAU a little attention.
The higher volumes are a good sign because it indicates there's a proper 'market' in LAU scrip.
Earlier today we briefly reached an all-time new high of A$0.79 if I'm not mistaken, but the SP then retreated marginally to A$0.785.
