Here is another train on the Brisbane - Melbourne route conveying 10 LAU railable containers on a recent day.

The number is important but in most businesses, one looks for consistency. Two trains on a route is a tiny sample, and naturally some intermodals might only have one or two LAU containers, but to see 10 on one and 13 on another suggests LAU has a bigger presence than a year ago.

'Mr Market' looks six to nine months ahead and doesn't award many wombat points for past performance, so it'll be interesting to see if he's grumpy when LAU releases its forecast for the next half yearly period:



LAU is gaining attention from a few more potential retail holders, and maybe the occasional institutional analyst, though the latter prefer to concentrate on much larger entities.
