The -AM5 (the '-' indicates day of week from origin station, with the ARTC strangely denoting Sundays as '1' even though it ought be '7', 'A' = Adelaide, 'M' = Melbourne and '5' is the train number, with '8' for instance reserved for passenger trains) operates six nights a week (exception is Sunday night from Adelaide).
I can't ever recall having seen LAU railable containers on it, although trains to and from Perth almost always feature our company's cartage.
However this example just before Christmas 2022 has two from LAU.
This suggests LAU has been so busy that it filled all contracted slots (spaces) on Pacific National's Perth-Melbourne intermodal trains, and has had to resort to asking for containers to be conveyed on the more 'local' train:
LAU may not attract coverage in the financial press often, which is fine as it's a relative minnow, but it appears to be continuing to kick goals.
