On Friday 14 April 2023 at about 1900 ACST, the Australian Rail Track Corporation closed the Trans Australian Railway from Kingoonya to Watson, a distance of 382.5 kilometres, due to concern about possible flooding.
I gather the track is being inspected this morning for possible reopening. This is obviously delaying LAU containers between Melbourne/Sydney/Adelaide/Parkes and Perth.
