As noted above, LAU has a multi-year contract with rail operator Pacific National.
However at 7:37 in the video below, there are at least four LAU railable containers on this AZJ (Aurizon) operated train from Sydney (and connecting ex Melbourne at Port Pirie) to Perth.
Perhaps there was no spare capacity on PN's trains, as Thursdays and Fridays ex Melbourne is the week's peak time, given consignors' desire to distribute the huge tonnages of supermarket and other goods transported by rail across the Nullarbor in Perth on Mondays:
