This video is six weeks old (20 October 2023) but in FY24, so relevant.
At least 13 of the 74 wagons on this Friday afternoon Melbourne to Perth intermodal train are LAU's railable containers. There are a couple of white-painted containers that may also be LAU's. At a minimum, LAU has about 17.5 per cent of the loading. Just great.
Six or seven years ago LAU would have been lucky to have had one or two containers on board a train for Perth. Like a five year old compared to a newborn, it's grown!
The video's information about this train being the 'Toll train' is outdated, as that entity has changed its name for this type of freight to Team Global Express. Its containers are now rail hauled by listed AZJ, not unlisted Pacific National.
