Yes, the road transport industry is ripe for further, slow consolidation as previously opined.
LAU won't want to purchase the small one or two truck 'mum and dad' operations though: they're the ones more likely to go into liquidation if interest rates keep rising and consumer demand decreases.
It's been especially interesting that despite the two largest LAU holders having offloaded some, the SP hasn't retreated to under A$1. Says much about how grumpy 'Mr Market' may (for once) respect management of LAU.
