    or in bwx's case holders with long term interests get stuffed over by the large superfunds in AUS lending their stock so they can get their tiny fee and beat the index. as a result companies SP gets suppressed as shorters dump their shares in a short period, and for businesses that need to raise capital for their acquisition strategy shorters can actually ruin their business plan. so now it gets taken private, some people get a short term win and a potential long term compounder gets snapped up by PE to the detriment of LT holders.

    industry superfunds are the biggest players in the market, who can absorb their stock if they lend it? no wonder any stock that gets targeted often falls 10%+ in a short period of time. the only people with the capacity to buy that much stock are actively lending it.

    i hate shorters with a passion, or maybe even more so the superfunds that lend to them
