One of the first US-based adopters has been children’s wear brand June & January. Soon after announcing the payment option on Instagram, the post was inundated with new customers marvelling at how good Afterpay was, particularly around its ease of use and convenience.
Just a few of the comments were:
“This is the BEST! Thanks for adding it as a payment option, so easy and convenient!”
“So easy to sign up and use! Love it.”
“Seriously was so easy to use”
“Afterpay is awesome. Used it yesterday and it was so easy!! Thanks for this feature J&J”
Although it’s very early days, such feedback is very promising. With any luck, this type of feedback will spread amongst US consumers, leading to exponential growth in the user base and a similar ‘network effect’ that we saw in Aus.
This is just the start for Afterpay..
