Laura McBain took Bellamy's from a $40m company to a $1.3b company in 2.5 years. Laura would be hurting professionally, financially and personally with what has occurred in the last two weeks. Was she out of her depth, maybe. Did she make some bad decisions, probably. Did she get lucky with the timing of the sale of her shares, I think so. I am giving her the benefit of doubt until proven otherwise. My personal view is most of the damage has been done by management failing to understand the importance of keeping the market and shareholders updated. Class actions are good for lawyers but are creating more negative sentiment about the company we own. Remember Bellamy's organic baby formula is a great product in demand by consumers.
