I have to say I am pretty impressed with the way Acadia are doing this. There is really something in this for the participants. They need to do the double blind trial and may or may not get Trofinetide, but then with Lilac they all have access to 40 weeks of Trofinetide followed by Lilac-2 where they will continue to receive Trofinetide (doesn't look like an end date).

I think this will really drive participation. In the P2 trials it felt like some families really saw the benefit of Trofinetide only to have the heartbreak of regression once the trial was over. With Lilac, Acadia have in place something that will give those who support the cause some real hope.
