Near miss?. It was a LTI for sure, he is in hospital. No announcement, this guy could have been killed just as easy. Just confirms that management are old-school and opaque and for me helps explain their lack of transparency of costs. The way a mining company runs its safety is a preview of operations performance - has been proven through the ages. Was a risk play for quick upside on the post Corona scar base metal bounce, but need ramp-up to continue and and hence C1 costs to reduce further to close the loss making forecast. Now all resulting ops procedural modifications risk a reduced 1Q production, so ops risk is too high for me now. Mining cowboys= eventual administration.
