Seems funny that within the legal profession, those that are not criminal lawyers seem ever ready to let criminal lawyers take much of the blame for letting their profession down. However, "criminal lawyers" should certainly not be limited to those who defend common criminals, but should be extended to include those who assist large corporations to "legally" hide their profits off-shore.
Was happy to see Joe Hockey talking about the fact that large corporations need to be gone after so they pay a fair share of taxes in the countries in which they operate....... However, I suspect that even if laws are put in place, some more highly paid clever a$$ lawyer will find a way to make profits disappear off-shore.... Along with the accountants and banksters, the good guy lawyers and law-makers will probably struggle to keep their excrement together as they endeavour to push it up a steep, rough incline in their attempts to get large corporations to pay their fair share.
As I keep saying, if the Age of Entitlement is over, the big end of town's entitlements need also to be dealt with along with the unemployed etc...
