What is intriguing with this story are 2 backdrop arguments:
1. The MB CA; and
2. The ASIC investigation,
each of which were glossed over.
Both represent extreme risks to the converting banks (if a DFEoccurs), so could well call into judgement the original lending decision, the 2x amendment decisions of last year and the possible upcoming DFE decision by the banks.
