Yeh.. that’s what I think when I apply Sam to current building conditions.. for Sam to work you’d have to change the game completely. Not impossible, but in today’s market it will be a brave person who attempts to develop this technology for everyday bricklaying.
As for bricks per day, a good brickie these days will get in about 600 a day. But it all depends on the walls that you have to brick, weather, bricks, sand.. a lot of variables. Currently about 1.30 - 1.40 a brick + extras.. (sills, piers and the like) in Melbourne. Not sure how the rest of Australia is?
