    or so the headlines shout today.

    all opinion polls show the Coalition cutting the ALP lead.

    to make this more confusing the Coalition look likely to hold Braddon in TAS where the ALP had expected to clean sweep Tasmania.

    This is the inherit misleading notion the polls have thrown up.

    The ALP have been keen to champion their lead and to use the results as an across the board outcome.

    trouble is swings are rarely uniform in elections unless of course a Government is on the nose as was the Keating Government and the Fraser Government.

    Its very early days into a 6 week election campaign but nothing i am seeing yet disuades me of my opinion the Coalition will retain Government.

    I feel the debate on Sunday night could be a bigger turning point then i had originally thought.

    Rudd will need to perform well to get back in the game.......if he stumbles......his dream will unravel before his eyes on Sunday night.

    I hope he has a tax policy before Sunday night.
