yes and the correct option -
humans are not built to see danger beyond the immediate
think about the animal - think about where we were - lets say only 10,000 years back (even less really)
our dangers were - big things with teeth jumping on us
big things with teeth trying to get into our cave
cold - ice, as it crept closer - we moved away. But the danger had to be on us at the time.
We have not evolved beyond that and if you notice our instinctive reactions - they still work very rapidly - instantly ----- but, if we sense any danger way off - we have to see it or hear it
we have almost no vision for prediction of what we cannot see
we are, under the hood - a very basic animal.
definitely not lazy - and imbecilic? ------------ whilst the species isn't the brightest -
what it is in this particular case - is unevolved
