HedgeJob, if u have B1, u can view market depth though this software called VAP
They use to have broker stats as well, u can see who is buying, who is selling, SFE took that away early last yr, as did ASX taking away broker ID for stocks, but I think all got to do with the big boys who at time has massive orders to buy/ sell, they will put say 25 lots then another 25 lots, now everyone sees that, which causes a lot " front running" , big boys can't get the best fills
From memory, one guy from ABN Ambros on the night session is always right on the SPI, he would sell 100 to 300 lots SPI evey night, and close them off in the mornings, always in profit, only time he was wrong was in 2003 when US starts bombing Iraq, he was short like few hundred SPI, then news comes out, SPI jumps 30 pts he had to cover back
