All keep this post short. I am willing to stand up and say that I was partially wrong on the LCC'S issue. It should be noted that Southwest, Ryanair and Easyjet are all successful LCC's however having said that, hard to find many others. If you look up Low Cost Airlines Graveyard on Google, you will see that there are many who have failed so my overall assumption is that the odds are stacked against JQ for a successful future.

Regardless, it is my opinion that the JQ strategy is wrong and has already badly damaged QF, almost to a point of no return. Critical time right now and QF must get its strategy right otherwise it may join that Graveyard list. Interestingly, many of those LCC's on the list were subsidiary's of the majors, just like JQ is of QF.
