    I recently bought LCD. I was told that it is better for 2 reasons:
    1) the screen does not "burn" if you pause it for long periods of time.
    2) it is better in a room where you may have bright sunlight shining through a window.

    Apart from that. with all our losses over the last couple of months who can afford one?
